The City of Cape Town has announced that an essential interruption to the electricity supply will take place in several areas on Friday, 6 September, as part of scheduled maintenance work. Residents in Standfontein and Mitchells Plain should expect the maintenance to begin from 9:00 and continue until 16:00. The same maintenance schedule applies to parts of San Remo and Bayview, where work will also take place between 9:00 and 16:00 on the same day.
