Meanwhile, Iran’s National Air Defense Headquarters described Israel’s airstrikes as “provocative” and “adventurous,” though they did not discuss the likelihood of a direct military response. The Iranian defense system reportedly managed to intercept a portion of the projectiles, though limited structural damage was recorded. An official statement from Iran’s defense agency, as cited by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), reads:
“The country’s integrated air defense system successfully intercepted and countered this aggressive action, though limited damage has been reported in certain areas.”
