SAWEA WIIP 2027 Graduate Internship Programme

It runs for 12 months and places graduates with host organisations across South Africa’s renewable energy sector.

Overview

Participants will gain practical workplace experience within South Africa’s renewable energy and wind energy sector. Successful applicants may be placed with participating host organisations operating across the renewable energy value chain, with the exact duties determined by the host company and department. The programme is multidisciplinary and accepts qualifications beyond engineering.

The internship runs for 12 months and offers practical workplace exposure within renewable energy organisations. Placement decisions depend on host availability and the field of study, with a formal review process guiding outcomes. Submitting an application does not guarantee shortlisting, an interview or placement.
