In the wake of the report about Phala Phala, pressure has been building on Ramaphosa for his resignation as president of the country. Retired Chief Justice Sandile Ngcobo chaired the Section 89 panel and made some serious allegations against Ramaphosa.
Dlamini Zuma’s call comes amid growing pressure on Ramaphosa, who is under increasing pressure to resign or face impeachment proceedings. The panel report revealed that Ramaphosa may have violated sections of the nation’s sacred Constitution. This was in relation to how he handled the Phala Phalamatter which dates back to February 2020.
Bathabile Dlamini, former president of ANC Women’s League, wants President Cyril Ramaphosa “compromised” to resign.
He must resign, he cannot resign. Dlamini stated on Thursday that he had compromised himself and has also compromised the ANC as well as the country.
Even the DA calls for the Ramaphosa to go, along with a whole host of other parties. However the foundations which are all about democracy are all quiet.
