Three people were killed and four others sustained injuries following a high-speed head-on collision in Ndwedwe, KwaZulu-Natal, on Saturday afternoon, 1 August 2026. Emergency services were dispatched to the site of the crash at approximately 17:00 to attend to the victims and secure the area.

According to Samantha Meyrick of IPSS Medical Rescue, reports received by emergency teams indicated that the vehicles were travelling at high speed when they collided.
