President Ramaphosa Allocates Ministries in Coalition Government

On Sunday, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced a new cabinet structure, distributing 12 out of 32 ministries to opposition parties within his coalition government.

The Democratic Alliance (DA) secured six ministries, including Education, Public Works, and Environment. An additional six ministries were assigned to smaller coalition parties. The African National Congress (ANC) retained control over 20 ministries, including key portfolios such as Finance, Foreign Affairs, Energy, and Defence.
