Internship Opportunities In Financial Management
The program is designed to give graduates hands on exposure to municipal financial management, including budgeting, reporting and policy development. It spans a three year placement with a salary cap aligned to municipal scales, and it seeks to prepare entrants for responsibilities ranging from data entry to policy analysis. Eligibility And Qualifications
Applicants must present either a B Com degree or a National Diploma in Cost Accounting Finance or Auditing with accounting as a major. This foundation is intended to support work that includes financial data entry, reconciliation, and the preparation of routine statements.
Additionally, applicants should demonstrate solid computer literacy with emphasis on MS Office applications, and own a valid Code B driver license or learner licence. Experience in financial accounting related tasks is recommended, and strong written and verbal communication skills in English and another local language are desirable.
