The Road Traffic Management Corporation confirmed that 700,399 vehicle licence discs will expire at the end of March.
More than 200,000 driving licence cards are also due for renewal during the same period.
RTMC spokesperson Simon Zwane has urged motorists to act promptly rather than waiting until the last moment.
Online Platform Offers Solution
Authorities are promoting digital channels as the most efficient way to complete renewals before the holiday rush.

Zwane said.
The National Traffic Information System has handled over six million vehicle licence disc renewals since launching in 2020.
This figure suggests increasing public trust in the online system as an alternative to queuing at physical traffic offices.
